Friends, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released a project recruitment notification. There are a large number of vacancies available under this notification. NPCIL Recruitment 2026
The total number of vacancies is 255 posts. The category-wise vacancy distribution is as follows:
- UR (Unreserved): 85 Posts
- OBC: 77 Posts
- SC: 54 Posts
- ST: 19 Posts
- EWS: 20 Posts
Out of these vacancies, 11 posts are reserved for PwBD candidates.

Training Period and Stipend
If you are selected for these jobs, there will be a two-year training period.
First Year Stipend
During the first year of training, candidates will receive a stipend of up to ₹20,000 per month.
Second Year Stipend
During the second year of training, candidates will receive a stipend of up to ₹22,000 per month.
Candidates will also receive a one-time book allowance of ₹3,000.
After successfully completing the training period, candidates will be absorbed as Technician/B.
After absorption, the basic pay will start from ₹21,700, and additional allowances will be provided as applicable.
Eligibility Criteria

Plant Operator
Candidates applying for the Plant Operator post should have passed HSC (10+2) / Intermediate with physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects.
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required.
Technician Posts
For technician posts such as
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Electronics Mechanic
- Instrument Mechanic
- Turner
- Machinist
- Welder
Candidates should have passed SSC/10th Class with science and mathematics, securing a minimum of 50% marks individually.
In addition, candidates must possess a relevant two-year ITI certificate.
If the ITI course duration is less than two years, candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
Language Requirement
Candidates must have studied English as a subject at the SSC/10th level.
Age Limit
Candidates between 18 years and 24 years of age are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation
Age relaxation is available as follows:
- OBC Candidates: 3 Years
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
- PwBD Candidates: 10 Years

Special Benefits for PAP Candidates
There is a special benefit for PAP (Project Affected Persons), which refers to candidates whose land was acquired for the project.
For these candidates, a minimum of 40% marks in the required qualification is sufficient for eligibility.
Additionally, 20% marks will be added during the selection process stage.
